The Forest City Flyers, London, is proud to sponsor there Indoor RC Flyers Group (L.I.F.T.) for another winter season. The dates are November 11, December 1, January 5, February 9 and March 9. ONLY the November 11 date will be in GYM #1 starting at 9:30 am to 11;30 am. The rest of the dates will be in GYM #3, from 10:00 am until noon. Open to all micro models, fixed wing and Helis. Electric only of course. Charging allowed in the gym, under constant watch. No flying allowed before stated times so please respect this. MAAC membership mandatory. Seasons pass is only $34.00. Flying area is 68 x 110 feet and a 22 foot ceiling.

Location: Glendale High School 37 Glendale Dr. Tillsonburg OLD Gym and Annandale Elementary School.
Open to Indoor electric fixed wing and helicopters. No CF blades.
No winter footwear to be worn in the gym. A change of shoes is mandatory, indoor shoes only.
The ORCFC wishes all pilots to have fun but reserves the right to restrict any aircraft that is not compatible with the size of the indoor flying space.
NOTE: All school-related functions have priority over community use

ALES Soaring contest series: May 5th, June 9th, July 14th, Aug 11, Sept 8th, and Oct 6th. The Penticton Model Aviation Club is hosting a series of 6 ALES contests (May-Oct) at Keogan Park (OK Falls) Pilot meetings at 9:30am sharp each day with flying to commence immediately following. Arrive early to register & setup plane. All pilots must have current MAAC membership. All gliders must be electric powered and equipped with an Altitude Limiting Device (eg CAM unit or equivalent) $10/session entry fee to cover expenses. Objective is friendly competition and spending an enjoyable day with good friends & sailplanes. New pilots welcome. July 20,21,22,2012 - 2nd Annual Aerotow in Lacolle QC
Club R/C Les Arpents V'Air, rang Grande Ligne, Lacolle QC with the collaboration of RCAerotowing.com and sponsored by AMR-RC will host it's Second Annual Aerotowing Event. Following the 2011 success we are now pleased to invite you to join us either as spectators or as flyers.
This is not the "usual" Fun Fly but an event open only to tow planes and gliders from 09:00am to 5:30 pm each day. Open to all till dusk.
There is no visitor fees but bring your lawn chairs! Everyone onsite will be more than happy to answer questions you might have.
For pilots: Pre-registration would be appreciated. MAAC or AMA registration card req'd. There is a registration fee of 30$ to cover the 3 days event and includes the Saturday night banquet and the prize raffle. AMR-RC and many other sponsors will be onsite. There is dry camping possibility for registered pilots onsite. Pilot meeting each day at 09:00 am. Many tow planes for all sizes of gliders will be available.
A food vendor will be onsite every day at noon time. Much more to come.
All size of gliders from foamies to 11m (wingspan) will be flying.

July 20 - The Vernon RC Aeromodelers Society will host the 8th. Annual BC Scale Classic at the Swan Lake field in Vernon, BC; July 20 - 22nd., 2012. Scale Masters Qualifier. $35.00 entry fee per model, $30.00 for NWSAM or USSMA members. Fees include a Friday night BBQ "Hanger Party" and the Saturday evening Baron-of-beef "Pot Luck" dinner for contestants, additional charge for guests. Self contained/dry camping by donation (going to a club charity) at the VRCAS field located 10Kms north of Vernon, BC on L&A Cross Rd. off Hwy's 97 or 97A just north of Swan Lake. Pre-registration requested to aid with food planning and RV parking! US Scale Masters rules - Five Scale Categories (ARF's allowed in the first 3):
Fun (Novice and Experienced) Open and Advanced, Expert and Team. Five mandatory requirements: Take-off, Straight Flight Past, Figure Eight, Landing & Realism of Flight, plus 5 optional (Prototype) maneuvers that you choose. Shearwater Flyer's 1st Annual Fun Fly will be taking place 20-22 July. Come fly at the largest R/C site in Canada, with over 10,000 feet of paved runways, and a 2km X 4 km area, and a 3000 foot ceiling. Lots of fun events, prizes, BBQ and canteen. For registration, please go to www.flyshearwater.ca. Open to all MAAC/AMA members, proof of membership required. Friday will be open for familiarization and setup, starting at 4PM, and flying will be open from 6 AM Saturday, through till 4 PM Sunday. Staff will be at the site 24/7, and we can assist with information on accomodations in the area. Looking forward to a full house!
