April 30, 2010 - 3 day(s) -- HUB CITY RADIO CONTROL CLUB INC
-- S.H.A.G.2010
Come out to the sixth annual Saskatoon Heli Annual Gathering....or SHAG 2010. This event will be held on the first weekend in May (May 1st & 2nd) at the HCRCC field. The event will kick off Friday evening ( April 30th ) from 7p-9p at the Sasktel Sports Centre for the indoor fun fly portion of the event. The evening will mark the official end of the indoor flying season, and Sat. morning will mark the official start of the outdoor season! Our goal is to get as much of the heli community out of hibernation, and ready for the summer. This is a non-competitive event geared towards promoting our hobby, friendship, and fun. This is a great event for newcomers to the R/C Helicopter Hobby, to learn, get assistance, or just see a wide variety of equipment and talent. Talent is by no means a requirement. We encourage those just starting, or those that have been out of flying for a while, to pack up your helis and head to SHAG 2010. There will be experienced pilots onsite to help you with setup, tips on hovering, forward flight, and more. Whether you fly nitro birds, or electrics, there will be something for you at SHAG. Please visit http://shag.hobby-site.com for further details.
