Fun Scale Primer May 16, 2010 – Kamloops Model Airplane Society, Tolko Field. This will be a fun day for pilots interested in Scale competition. The emphasis is to have fun, socialize and provide pilots with instruction in scale competition. There will be judged flights for feedback to those who want to do so. There is no entry fee and no awards. Start time is 8:00am registration (or register early by email); 9:00 – 10:00am review of guidelines, basic maneuvers, static judging criteria, and flying requirements. This is the largest Float-Fly in western Canada. It takes place at Sandy Point Resort, 5km west of Salmon Arm, BC. Registration will begin Tuesday Sept. 7. Flying will go on all week with the event wrap up taking place on Sunday September 12th. We will provide a retrieval boat and a frequency board from at least that time on for early arrivals.
