Event Description
Royland Season Opener - Sailplane Aerotow EventSaturday May 28 and Sunday May 29.
A two day event- weather permitting.
Open to all scale and semi-scale towable sailplanes. Tugs have capability to tow 6 + meter sailplanes.
No charge for CMAS members,- non member fee $ 5.00
A great venue and an opportunity to get the thumbs moving again and work out all the cobwebs that have set in over the winter.
Visitors are welcome and anyone interested in this aspect of sailplane flying can have all their questions answered - assistance will be given to new fliers and first time test flights can be done by qualified pilots if so desired.
Bring your lunch and a deck chair. This is a no pressure event so no need to be shy
