This years Annual Zone meeting will take place Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Cote St Luc Aquatic Centre located at 5794 Avenue Parkhaven, Côte-Saint-Luc, QC H4W 0A4.

Committee Membership
In relation to committee membership; please be advised that all volunteers are welcome and to join a committee , one merely needs to place their name on the Committee Member form which will be located at the registration table on entering. However; should you wish to be a committee head you need to fill in a form with your CV and background indicating your intention with a seconder and then that will be forwarded to the MAAC office for voting at the MAAC annual general meeting in the spring of 2018.
MAAC Bursary
We wish to remind all that there is a $ 5000 MAAC bursary for MAAC junior persons enrolled in a college educational program relating to aviation. Should you wish to be a candidate you need to fill in a form with your CV and background indicating your reasons for seeking the scholarship . For more information please contact the MAAC office. All junior MAAC members are encouraged and invited to submit in writing.
Recommendations and Resolutions
Recommendations and Resolutions as it relates to the MAAC Policy and operating guidelines. Please put your thoughts in writing and email to the Zone director [email protected] and also the MAAC office . Bring them to the AZM to explain and have approved.
Awards :Wing Certificates ; Leader Member Nominations ; Zone Director Election
We are always pleased to award wing certificates to persons who have successfully completed structured learn to fly programs at your clubs. It is the responsibility of each club to submit an orderly list to the zone director on an excel spreadsheet at least one month before the AZM ( deadline September 30, 2017). The list needs to clearly indicate the students name; MAAC # and the accomplishment and also show the instructors name and MAAC #. We encourage all clubs to submit nominations of persons who have demonstrated outstanding examples of leadership on behalf of MAAC within and beyond their own clubs. Appropriate forms must be submitted at the AZM to be presented for nomination. This year will be an election year for zone director. Interested persons must submit their candidacy in writing 30 days prior to the AZM to both the existing zone director and also the MAAC office

We will once again be holding TECH info seminars. The planned subjects are as follows:

SWAP SHOP
Due to prior year's success , we will once again be holding a swap shop open to all MAAC members and the public. Interested MAAC persons wishing to reserve a table should contact in advance Gabor Botka ( [email protected] )
