Wet & Dry Summer Fly
Description de l'événement
Our Wet & Dry Summer Fly was a great success last year, and we expect that it will be this year as well. Lots of laughs, a great strip, beautiful mountains, and a lovely open lake for float flying as well. The magnetic tree and it's neighbors have been removed! We hope our American and international friends will be able to attend again. The Canadian dollar still makes the trip very inviting. There will be the usual food and soft drinks available of course.
Please remember that the strip is grass and as such it is not conducive to extremely small model tires. The gravel strip beside the runway can help, and we will have the grass cut quite short..
We have very adequate camping area for tents, trailers and motor homes but there are no services available. This area is only 300 ft from the action.
As with all our events, they are open to all current MAAC carded pilots, with at least a 'A' rating. All models must be Electric.
Note: Bill Rollins ZD-H
Anyone choosing to park their vehicle inside of the 40 meter parking area will not be covered by MAAC for vehicle damage in the event of an accident.
