2018 Annual Zone Meeting/Cub and Cousins Fun Fly
The 2018 BC Zone "H" Annual Zone Meeting (AZM) will be held this year on Saturday, August 25 at 3:00 PM. The location is at the Parksville District Qualicum Flyers Association (PDQFLYERS) field in Nanoose Bay B.C. This event will be held in conjunction with the PDQFLYERS First Ever "Annual Cub and Cousins Fun Fly." The Fun fly will start at 10:00 am and run until 3 PM. The AZM will start at 3 PM sharp and with any luck be over by 4:00-4:30 PM. There will be open flying until dusk for any type of model aircraft after the meeting. Lunch and Dinner will be provided free of charge for everyone attending the Fun Fly, AZM or both. The sorta rules for the Fun Fly are: All Cubs and their variants, all Cousins that served similiar purposes as Cubs and their variants are welcome to the fun fly. They must be single engine/motor, high wing, cabin monoplanes with fixed landing gear. They can be scale, semi scale, fun scale, sorta scale, could be scale etc. Further details and contact information can be found on the MAAC website under Zone "H" Events. We hope that this "Cub and Cousins Fun Fly" will become an annual event for our club and welcome everyone to come on out and enjoy our clubs hospitality, comradery and did I forget, prizes!
