2019 SPRING OPEN HOUSE
Event Description
2019 SPRING OPEN HOUSE, Saturday May 11th, 2019 (9am-6pm)Burnaby Lake Flyers will be holding an Open House for the public, to promote the RC hobby in the community.
All currently registered MAAC and AMA pilots of all electric aircraft are welcome to fly for the day as there will be open flying all day.
Registration will be at 9:30am and pilots briefing at 10am.
A flight simulator will be on hand for anyone wishing to try their skills on being an RC pilot.
Members will be on hand to answer any questions relating to RC planes and helicopters, or if interested, in how to get into the hobby and join our club.
Anyone is welcome to set up a table to sell RC planes or gear (please bring your own table if able to do so).
There will be a $5.00 registration fee for all pilots wanting to fly, we are also accepting non-perishable food items so that we can donate them to our local community food bank.
Free pizza, pop and water for all registered pilots.
So come out for the day,rekindle with old friends, and maybe, meet some new ones. will be a fun day for all.
