ALES Glider Contest
Event Description
Thermal duration contest for electric-powered gliders. All electric climb-&-glide sailplanes (any wingspan) are welcome. Altitude limiters not necessary - 20 sec motor runs will be used at launch. (Motor run duration may be adjusted at the discretion of the CD). Registration 9:00 am Pilots briefing 9:30 am Contest start: 10:00 am Raindate: Sunday, July 14. A fun & stress-free contest for all. The winner will earn bragging rights until our next contest. Timers and spectators are welcome. There will be a BBQ, lots of fun and camaraderie.From 9:00
