33rd Annual Ottawa Valley Giant Scale Rally in Kingston CANCELLED for 2020
Event Description
It has become clear in this new pandemic reality that social distancing will be the new normal for the remainder of 2020. The things that make this event so great, like the camping, the group meals and spending time with old friends just won’t be possible to the same extent in 2020.Regretfully, we are cancelling the 2020 edition of the OVGS Kingston event.
Let’s all hope for a fantastic celebration of giant scale modelling in 2021.

Rules Deviations:
A Giant Scale Model Aircraft as defined by MAAC as a model aircraft with a total flying weight not-to-exceed 35 Kg (77 lbs) and with:
1. minimum wingspan of 2.0 metres (78") for monoplanes;
2. minimum wingspan of 1.5 metres (59") for Biplanes/Multi-wings;
3. all true scale models of 25% scale or larger.
