Dear MAAC Members,
The year 2025 has been an important one for our organization, a year of reflection, transition, and most importantly, preparation for the future. Together, we have taken several important steps that bring us today to the launch of MAAC 2.0.
MAAC 2.0 is not simply a new website or a new technological platform. It represents a vision for the future of our association, a vision based on collaboration, transparency, and above all, on what has always been the strength of our organization: the members and clubs that make up the great MAAC family.
For several years now, our volunteers have been working to modernize our business processes, our tools, and the way we communicate with you. The launch of the new version of maac.ca marks an important milestone in this evolution. This new platform will allow us to share information more effectively, provide additional resources for our clubs, and create new spaces for members to connect and exchange ideas, including the MAAC Forum.
But beyond technology, MAAC 2.0 represents a new way of working together, an organization that is more open, more accessible, and closer to its members.
Aeromodelling is much more than a hobby. It is a passion that is passed down, that brings generations together, and that creates lasting friendships. In our clubs across Canada, we see this passion expressed every week through knowledge sharing, mutual support, and the welcoming of new members.
It is this human and family dimension that makes MAAC so special. Whether you have been flying for 40 years or are discovering the hobby for the first time, you are part of this community.
In the coming months, you will see new initiatives, new tools, and new ways to collaborate. MAAC 2.0 will continue to evolve, because this transformation does not happen overnight. It grows over time, and above all through your participation.
But more importantly, MAAC 2.0 is not just a window or a vision, it is a true way of thinking and being as a community.
I invite you to explore the new website, participate in discussions on the forum, and continue bringing your clubs to life with the passion that unites us all.
The future of MAAC rests on our members, our volunteers, our clubs, and our ability to work together.
Thank you for being part of this great family.
Fly safe and keep the passion alive.
