APRIL 13th Board Meeting – Thank You to Our Attendees

Thank you to all MAAC members and guests who attended the MAAC Open Board of Directors Meeting on April 13, 2026. Your presence and continued engagement reflect the strength and passion of Canada’s aeromodelling community.

During the meeting, the Board shared progress toward the upcoming 2025 MAAC Annual General Meeting, including a streamlined and secure online voting process through MAAC.ca. Updates also highlighted the ongoing evolution of the MAAC website as a comprehensive digital hub for members, featuring news, zone updates, event management, and airfield certification tools.

We were pleased to report progressing financial performance, continued development of Advisory Groups, and meaningful advancements in Site Operating Certificates (SOC) and public event policies. Membership engagement remains a key priority, with Directors actively encouraging participation to ensure a successful AGM.

The meeting also emphasized MAAC’s commitment to transparency, collaboration, and innovation, reinforcing our shared mission to support and grow aeromodelling across Canada.
