CMPRA Quickie 500 and E-F1 Races May 23,24
Event Description
Calgary Miniature Pylon Racing Association will host the annual spring opener to Pylon racing with 2 events, that being Q500 (AMA Class 426) and Electric Formula one (EF1). The EF1 event will fly on Saturday and the Q500 event will fly on Sunday. These will be 3 plane heats, using the judgeman race management system. Rules Deviations:
AMA 426 rules apply with the exception of engine. In addition to the AMA engine ruling the Nelson short stroke Q500 engine is allowed when the mini-pipe is removed from the expansion chamber. This de-tunes the 1/4 wave tune pipe and reverts it to an expansion chamber only.
