Calgary IMAC bootcamp 2015
Event Description
CRAMS is proud to host an IMAC bootcamp and mini (just for fun) contest. Thought about trying IMAC but were not sure about the rules and scoring? Want to learn what the Basic class maneuvers are supposed to look like BEFORE you go to a contest? When: July 25, 2015 from 9:00 till 4:00 (ish)
Where: the new CRAMS field (just east of Irricana) - www.CRAMS.ca
The morning 'bootcamp' session will give you all you need to know about flying in the Basic class at an IMAC contest: how a contest is run, rules for scoring, plane setup and trimming tips, how to practice - stick planes, how to read the Aresti diagram and much more!
We will have a short lunch break and then, weather permitting we will run a mini (just for fun) contest where you can try out your new skills with the first 5 maneuvers of the 2015 Basic schedule.
Any MAAC member is welcome and the cost is only 5 dollars (to help out with handout materials and food). If you and your plane can do a loop and a roll you are ready to come out and give it a go! Send me a pm with your e-mail address if you are interested or have more questions.
