Event Description
18 June '17 - Father's Day Fun Fun-Fly at "Kelly Field" situated on Golf Course Road 1.2Km North of Boulder Blvd (Atco Gas office) in the North Industrial Park of Stony Plain. This is a day of fun for anyone interested in learning what the sport/hobby of model aviation is all about. Spectators will see examples of all sorts of model aircraft from larger models designed for scale aerobatics, trainers not unlike those used to learn to fly full scale aircraft, helicopters and the newer technology of the multi-rotor "drones". Spectators will be given the opportunity to get up close to the models on display and ask any questions about the technology that come to mind.
