Battle of Alberta - Calgary Fall
Event Description
The Windy West Fliers , the Edmonton RC Society (ERCS) and the Calgary Radio Aeromodelers (CRAMs) are promoting a province wide series of combat events with pilots welcome from all over Alberta and other provinces.The fifth event is being held at the CRAMs field near Calgary on Sept. 9th and will feature open class combat.(max eng. 0.46 or equiv. electric)
The CRAMs field is located ½ km south of Irricana just east of Highway #9.
Pilot registration is from 9;30 am and first round planned for 10:30. Event will run until approximately 3:30 with as many rounds held as possible so charge your batteries!
Pilot registration fee of $5.00 will cover BBQ lunch. Spectators are encouraged and a BBQ lunch of hot dogs and burgers for $5.00 will be available.
All pilots must have passed the equivalence of the MAAC Wings test and must be active members of MAAC.
