Southwest Annual Zone Meeting, Zone M

Event Description

The MAAC Annual Zone Meeting for the Southwest will be at the "London Model Aircraft Club" field on River Road. The date is September 12, 2020. Sign in will begin at 10 am. The meeting will begin at 11 am, with a 1/2 hour lunch we plan to conclude the meeting by 1:30 pm. There are sun and rain shelters. Please bring your lawn chair, hand sanitizer as well as your mask. Social distancing will be practiced. The field will be closed to flying due to the London Air Show at the airport. As usual coffee and donuts are provided as well as lunch.
We will be discussing the MAAC Bursary which is $5000.00. Do you know a MAAC member that qualifies for this? I'd love to submit their name to the committee for consideration. We will also discuss nominations for Hall of Fame, Leader, Lifetime Achievement and Pioneer so please submit your paperwork to me prior to the meeting. We always need volunteers, consider to volunteer as a chairman of a committee or be a committee member. We will be voting for a Zone Director. Frank Klenk is willing to volunteer and has submitted his name. By the way, breakfast is still on, we meet at Wimpy's at 8 am, 4349 Wellington Rd S, London. See you there.
