Aerotow & Sailplane Weekend
Description de l'événement
Three days of aerotow and sailplane flying. Predominantly an aerotow and e-glider fun-fly with limited Hi-Start or winch launch opportunities due to aerotow operations. Come for one, two or all three days! Please let us know ahead of time which day(s) you plan to attend so we can ensure adequate tow plane/pilot availability.No entry fee, free onsite dry camping; bring your own lunches etc. We provide tugs suitable for all size scale sailplanes! Thermals in mid-May at CARFF can be amazing or the weather can blow us out…watch the forecasts closer to the time and contact us if in doubt.
MAAC approved altitude ceiling of 1000’ AGL; limited by Class E airspace floor. Altitude telemetry recommended for large sailplanes.
