Event Description

Valley of Hope Fun Fly and Potluck Supper, June 10-16. Travelling from east or west on Hwy 54, turn north on RR 45 (Harriman Lumber Sign) for 3.4 km, turn rt. and follow signs into site. Potluck supper Sat. -$5/ person with funds going to STARS. Concession on site Fri-Sunday with burgers, pop, and hot dogs. Self contained camping NC. proof of valid MAAC membership required. Directions:
Departing Innisfail and heading west is highway #54. On highway #54 between Spruce View and Caroline is located the hamlet of Raven. From the turnoff to Raven, continue on Highway #54 and drive 5 km west to Range Road 45. Turn north on to Range Road 45 (Large Harriman Lumber sign) and drive 3.4 km. Turn right, immediately cross a Texas gate and drive 700 metres. This is the entrance to the flying field. Turn left and follow the dirt trail for approximately 150 metres.
